  • There is an enriched central library in the college. This Central library has more than 10000 books, Journals, Textbooks, Reference books, E-resources, Audio- Visual resources, CDs / DVDs News Papers, Employment News etc.
  • Library Advisory Committee decides the purchasing of reading material
  • Allocation of annual funds for various subjects is decided on the basis of strength of students in a particular subject /faculty. Final decision is taken by Library Advisory Committee.
  • Lists of books are given by subject teachers after discussion with the Library Advisory Committee.
  • Library Advisory Committee allocates day and time for each class to get the books issued from the Library. The students are advised to contact the librarian for easy access to the library facilities.
  • Students can read news papers, magazines etc. in library.
  • Library card is issued to each student to ensure security of study materials.
  • The books are issued on library cards.
  • Examination admission card will not be issued unless the students secure the “NO DUES CERTIFICATE” from the library.
  • In the event of books getting lost by a student such student will have to deposit the value of books according to rules.

  1. Development of eLectures of all faculty and upload them on website
  2. Complete automation of library
  3. Ensure maximum utilization of digital contents by student and faculty
  4. Collaboration and form partnerships with other leading National and International Universities.
  5. Establishment of Braille Section for special users
  6. Development text book and reference section.
  7. Digitization of institute project reports, technical reports, annual reports, faculty publication, conference proceeding etc.
  8. Increase and strengthen use of reading material and technology.
  9. Implementation of a user-friendly search and discovery tool.
  10. Procurement of e-books and e-journals.
  11. User Awareness Programme.
  12. Extension of Library services to outside users on demand.
