General Rules
Ph.D. Fees: Fees are to be paid annually and session-wise after admission, starting from July 1, 2023. Admissions occurring at any point during the academic session (July 1 to June 30) are considered as part of that admission session, with the next year’s fees due in July of the following session.
Pre-Submission Viva Voce: The pre-submission viva voce will be conducted on Saturdays after 2:00 PM.
Final Viva Voce: The final viva voce is scheduled for Saturdays after 2:00 PM. If the external examiner has special circumstances, the date and time can be changed upon receiving a written request from the examiner.
Ph.D. Attendance: Ph.D. is a full-time program. It is the supervisor’s responsibility to record and verify the attendance of students.
Publication Requirement: All Ph.D. students receiving any type of fellowship (JRF, SRF, etc.) must publish one paper per semester with an ISSN or ISBN, as applicable.Teaching Involvement: Supervisors should involve Ph.D. scholars in teaching and assignments, in consultation with the Head of the Department (HoD), and maintain records of their involvement.
